Disability Insurance
We provide both short-term and long-term plans. These plans can be set up either of two ways: as a percentage of the employees' salary, or as a flat amount per week/month. The benefit of a Disability Plan is to cover the employee who is unable to work, providing temporary income. As with Life Insurance, we offer Voluntary Plans where are no cost to the employer because the employee pays the premium. Disability is an attractive benefit because it is usually one that the employee does not arrange for themselves. When a claim occurs, the insurer takes on the responsibility of assessing the disability. The employer does not have to get involved.
